Jaan Kristjan Utno is an Estonian cinematographer currently based in Los Angeles, California.
After achieving a BFA in Crossmedia Production at the Baltic Film and Media college in Tallinn, Estonia, he successfully pursued an MFA in Cinematography with honors from the new york film academy
His parents always told him great things come to those who want it. Ever since then, he's wanted more than anything to succeed, to explore and share the world, spread legends and bring to life untapped imaginations
He is currently shooting commercials, short films and music videos, as well as attempting to pioneer new media tactics Deployable for motion picture and visual media.
On the side he tends to have his eye glued to a camera, from cataloging and archiving specular reflections and hazy street corners, to working in a studio and capturing the latest fashion trends and beautiful people.
